As Chairman and Founder of Blue Rock, Robert’s primary responsibilities include strategic direction and initiatives. Robert is a member of Blue Rock’s Investment Committee where his responsibilities include reviewing investment manager research, portfolio monitoring and portfolio oversight. Robert has been in the financial industry since 1983.
He began his career as an account executive with the investment firm John G. Kinnard & Company in 1983. From 1985 to 1988, he was an associate with Paragon Network, Inc., a Minneapolis-based merchant banking and financial advisory firm.
Robert graduated from Merrimack College with a B.A. in History and attended Wharton School’s Executive Program on Financial Management.
Robert is currently a board member of Okabena Company. He previously served as Chairman of the Investment Committee for The Minneapolis Foundation and as a member of its Executive Committee from 2008 until January 2015.
