About Mark:
As Principal and Managing Director of Blue Rock, Mark’s primary responsibilities include sales and client service. He specializes in building relationships in the Taft-Hartley industry. Mark is also a member of Blue Rock’s Investment Committee where his responsibilities include investment manager research oversight, on-site due diligence meetings with current managers and portfolio monitoring. He has been in the financial industry since 1990.
Before joining Blue Rock in 1991, he worked at Prudential-Bache Securities as a manager research analyst for a Senior Investment Consultant specializing in the management of Taft-Hartley accounts.
Mark graduated from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management with a B.S.B. in Finance. He is a CFA charter holder as well as a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota and the CFA Institute.
Mark serves on the board of directors for The Tim and Jeannie Hamann Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting cancer research and patients. Mark is also a board member emeritus for True Friends, a nonprofit organization serving children and adults with disabilities.
